Praise the Lord! On August 25, 2007, our new sanctuary was dedicated to the
Lord. It was a day that the whole church had been earnestly praying and waiting
for. Countless obstacles seemed to get in the way with money and construction
issues, but in the face of it all we never lost hope that God would make a way.
Through it all members of the church came together and were able to work to
finish the construction. All the hard work and prayers did not go in vain, God
heard and saw our need and came to our rescue.beloved Pastor V. P. Abraham, who
has been our fellow pastor for the past 9 years and who is currently during
ministry in India. Following the inauguration, family and friends shared a word
of thought and blessing for our new sanctuary. It was a great time of worship
and fellowship among our fellow believers.erything we do and in turn serving others in God’s love. We are also
committed to reaching the lost souls, both locally and internationally.
We are also focusing on growing in grace and in knowledge of our Lord
Jesus. And we want to see a numerical growth in our church as well,
seeing all walks of people just come to God’s presence and dedicate
their lives to Him.
We would like to say a
word of thanks to all the fellow believers across the states (Dallas,
Chicago, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, etc.) that have helped us
with donations and/or have prayed for us. We are grateful for your
generous contributions and prayers for our church. Continue to keep us
in prayers that God might use our church mightily for His kingdom. May
God richly bless you!
Humble Beginning
Chattanooga Christian Assembly is based in the beautiful city of Chattanooga.
CCA was formed by a group of Malayalee Pentecostal believers in 1986 as an
indigenous and independent church.
In the beginning the services were held at 1122 McBrien
Road, East Ridge, Tennessee till March 1989. Through the
sacrificial giving of the members, a property was purchased
in 1988 and a sanctuary and a fellowship hall were
constructed in 1989.
The church facility includes a baptistery and Sunday school
rooms. Church services started in the new facility in March
of 1989. Pastor V.M. Babu was the Pastor and President of
the church till September of 1997. Pastor V.P. Abraham from
Oklahoma was appointed as Pastor and President of the church
in September 1997. The church purchased a parsonage in 1999.
New Chapter

During the past two decades we have outgrown our present facility with the
number of people that attend our church. So in December 2003
the members of the church decided to expand the church sanctuary and add Sunday
School rooms. Soon a building fund was established and the members of the church
have been sacrificially contributing to the effort. In November of 2005 the
construction of the new building started. The construction is expected to end
around March of 2006.
