Accepting our faults

In Psalm 41:4 David said,”I said, “Have mercy on me, Lord; heal me, for I have sinned against you.””

In the whole chapter of Psalm 41, we see David’s transparency and honesty in front of God. Often times we want to sugar-coat or avoid the problems and insecurities we have in our lives, but we have to accept our faults and hand them to God so we are able to be closer to Him.

God wants us to give him our doubts, but in order for Him to takeover we have to be open and honest when we pray to God. When you are feeling spiritually weak, you can sense your other insecurities and problems weighting down on you. Next time you feel the stress and depression of life, try taking care of your inner man by just honestly talking to God and putting these things in His hand’s.

Matthew 1:23 – Emmanuel: God With Us

God has promised us of His constant presence in Hebrews 13:5, but are we aware of His presence every day?  We will experience the peace that gives us rest, joy inexpressible in our spirit, and a power that nothing in this world can offer when we become aware of His presence daily.

We can be conscious of His presence by looking for God in whatever we do and wherever we are.  For example, when we are in the middle of resolving issues, relationships, or during any challenging times, we should ask the Lord to be right in the middle of it all.  Whether we believe it or not, God is always there. God can guide us in our thinking and His presence will bring clarity of thought and wisdom to you.  His presence will drive us to have flow of great and sound ideas.

When we become conscious of God’s presence in our lives, worries and fears will have no place in your mind.
